FunHouse Finale

"Good Ideas but some things need a little fixing"

submission: FunHouse Finale
date: November 2, 2009

1. Synchronize the voices to the animation.
2. Get rid of the black out periods in the beginning of the animation.
3. Explain why the fun house is evil...and try to make it something other than 'it's just haunted.'

I'd normally give this a 6 BUT you used a GOOD Metallica song so you get an 8. :) - Bone

"ADDICTING"

submission: Killheads

Geez man - The music is phenomenal. The idea is simple but cool enough to work. It's definitely more original than half the stuff on here and it's easy to play. AWESOME WORK. - Bone

"Needs Some Fixing"

submission: Behalloweened
date: October 27, 2009

1. Switch the music to something more Halloween oriented. The music here sounds too grainy and it's torture to listen to on head phones.
2. Make the witch's skin green and her cloak purple. Why? Because between the background and everything here being dark colored except the pumpkins and ghosts, the icons look boring.
3. Get a softer sound for whenever you switch the icon. The witch's cackle gets annoying after a while.

Honestly, I don't get why the game is like this. The file size is only 327KB. You could put in more color, a better background, AND WAY better music. The game has MAJOR potential but I don't want to play it because it has boring colors, an annoying looping sound in the background I can't stand, and the obnoxious victory cackle every time I click something isn't helping. If you fix that I'll come back and 5 it. For now - 6/10

Ectso - All Snowed In

"Belongs In A Video Game"

date: December 23, 2009

I'm usually not a huge fan of winter themed stuff, but this is exceptional. I listened to it three times just to be sure. I listen to it and I think we need to make a video game where you're sledding through some surrealistic snow world throwing snowballs at elves or something. Really good stuff. - Bone

That'd be pretty awesome except I have no way of making flash stuff :/ I've always wanted to make em, but I dont have the tools.

Ectso - Wrong In The Head

"Different :)"

date: November 3, 2009

As promised, a Halloween song. Not quite what I was expecting, but interesting nonetheless. It's quirky, and strange. What's more is that it loops really well (Just like another favorite of mine - DARK DREAMS!) It feels like the music you might hear at 3am in a Halloween party where everyone is way way way too wasted to know what's playing or care. It's very cool.

Author's Response:

Lol, I actually didn't really intend for it to be for halloween. I was just playing around with some fl stuff on Halloween night, and I came out with this :/ Figured I'd throw it up for shits and giggles. I was going to do an actual Halloween trance type song, but I was way too busy this month.

Bloody-Tears(Halloween09)

"A Keeper - For the Classic Section"

date: October 30, 2009

This is probably the best piano solo I've heard for Bloody Tears. In fact it's probably the only legitimate sounding version for piano :) It may sound corny but I think it's great music to study to. Keep it coming! - Bone

Author's Response:

Hehe thx man its appreciated. And its corny because its quite hard to play, especially the tempo on the right hand :P
