I'm here to chew bubble gum and mix horror, and I'm all out of bubble gum!

I'm usually not a huge fan of winter themed stuff, but this is exceptional. I listened to it three times just to be sure. I listen to it and I think we need to make a video game where you're sledding through some surrealistic snow world throwing snowballs at elves or something. Really good stuff. - Bone

That'd be pretty awesome except I have no way of making flash stuff :/ I've always wanted to make em, but I dont have the tools.

As promised, a Halloween song. Not quite what I was expecting, but interesting nonetheless. It's quirky, and strange. What's more is that it loops really well (Just like another favorite of mine - DARK DREAMS!) It feels like the music you might hear at 3am in a Halloween party where everyone is way way way too wasted to know what's playing or care. It's very cool.
Author's Response:
Lol, I actually didn't really intend for it to be for halloween. I was just playing around with some fl stuff on Halloween night, and I came out with this :/ Figured I'd throw it up for shits and giggles. I was going to do an actual Halloween trance type song, but I was way too busy this month.

"A Keeper - For the Classic Section"
This is probably the best piano solo I've heard for Bloody Tears. In fact it's probably the only legitimate sounding version for piano :) It may sound corny but I think it's great music to study to. Keep it coming! - Bone
Author's Response:
Hehe thx man its appreciated. And its corny because its quite hard to play, especially the tempo on the right hand :P

"Going In My Permanent Collection"
I'm not a huge SF fan, and I think this mix rocks. I hope someone puts this in a flash game soon. - Bone
Author's Response:
Much obliged, dude. I actually got into the series a year or so ago just viewing the themes on YouTube (I was more of an MK dude back in the day), so I can feel you on that. Glad you liked the tune regardless!

Seriously! Why do I have to stop at a score of 10?! This is such an original mix. And to be more specific: It's an original horror mix. I mean let's all be honest: Do we REALLY need anymore mixes of Thriller, Ghostbusters, or John Carpenter's Halloween theme? NO WE NEED NEW MUSIC! This mix takes us in a totally new direction: First, It takes some of the creepiest aspects of Kubrick's classic and just runs with them - Danny Torrance chanting Redrum, and the conversation that takes place between Danny and Mr. Halloran about room 237. Then we get an awesome DnB with insane electro sounds. Can anyone else think of a better mix for Halloween? -> Especially on Newgrounds?! This deserves a 15. It's a cut above the rest. - Bone
Author's Response:
I'm glad I didn't go with the Halloween Theme Remix. It was the Al Bowlly song that really sold it, that and the redrum quote. thanks for the review

"And I thought Brinstar was impressive!"
This was so so so good. I've never really been the biggest Metroid fan but these mixes make me want to play the old SNES version with this stuff looping in with the game on mute. I actually think that the balance on this track is just fine. The contrasts in volume are awesome on my headphones.
P.S. I know you're on a Metroid Prime/ Fusion kick right now, but you should consider remixing the haunted ship from the SNES version for Halloween. Just a thought. - Bone

There's a bleak sentiment here, and to be honest I'm VERY impressed with it. Anyone who has read 'I Am Legend' or seen 'The Last Man on Earth' will understand why the lyrics were added. Furthermore, the beat doesn't get boring (i.e. stay fast or slow throughout the whole song.) we get a nice mixture that pushes the track along. As always, Ectsoman delivers the goods!

Okay, I've heard 'Into The Void' and I do like that better, but I think that's because the quality of this song is lowered because of Newgrounds, not anything you did wrong. It's a good take on traditional trance, and you really proved that at 1:51 in the song where you transitioned into the piano. Plus you had the good grace not to bore us with a seven minute long progressive trance track. 2:51 for a trance song is sublime. As usual, good work. - Bone

Let's be fair, no one should let this be ranked at 3. Hell, no one should let this be ranked at 4. It you should be at least a 4.8 or 5. The balance is perfect, and the music is solid. I'm a big fan of dance, and I think this particular mix needed to happen sooner or later. AWESOME MIX. - Bone
